Translating the brand into retail

How do you translate a fashion brand’s identity into a physical space while maintaining the same feeling across different locations and formats?

MOS MOSH needed a flexible retail concept that could work at different scales, from smaller shop-in-shop settings to full stores and showrooms. The concept had to create a recognisable setting for the collections while expressing the brand’s mix of contemporary tailoring, warmth and understated luxury.

Designing the experience

Rooted in the MOS MOSH brand DNA, the concept uses a clear design language built around materials, colours, shapes and details.

A warm, muted colour palette creates a calm and inviting atmosphere. Natural wood, soft textiles and tactile surfaces add warmth, while patinated metal, slender wire structures, smoked glass, stone and terrazzo elements introduce contrast and character.

The fixtures are light and open, allowing the collections to remain at the centre of the experience. Rounded wire furniture, sculptural bases and carefully considered shelving create a refined expression without making the space feel formal or unapproachable.

The result is a balance between soft and structured, natural and industrial, timeless and contemporary.

The final concept

The final concept is distinctly MOS MOSH: sophisticated yet approachable, contemporary yet timeless.

It creates a warm and tactile backdrop for the collections and gives the brand a consistent physical identity across shop-in-shops, stores and showrooms. The modular design language allows the concept to change in scale while retaining the materials, details and atmosphere that define the MOS MOSH universe.
