Revealing the full set-up at EuroShop

“EuroShop was the perfect opportunity to demonstrate what STUDIO 9 actually does in practice, not just talk about it.”
– Rasmus Ravnholt, Sales Director

The challenge

How do you communicate a complex, end-to-end set-up in a way that is both easy to understand and engaging to explore?

For STUDIO 9, EuroShop became an opportunity to turn the lens inwards and approach that challenge as we would for any client. In this case, we were our own customer.

The task was to translate a multifaceted process spanning design, development, sourcing, compliance, production and logistics into a clear and compelling physical experience.

The idea

Instead of explaining what we do, we wanted people to experience it. Rather than creating a traditional exhibition stand, the concept was developed as a curated space where each element played a role in telling the story of STUDIO 9.

“We treated it almost like an art exhibition. Each piece was designed as a sculptural object, representing different product categories and ways of working.”  – Jonas Danielsen, Designer

The ambition was not to present fixed products, but to open up the process. To show how solutions are shaped through collaboration, customisation and continuous adaptation.

“Customisation is such a central part of what we offer. Not just in the solutions themselves, but in the way we build partnerships and shape processes.”  – Clara Mahler, Designer

To make the process understandable, the experience had to be physical.

“Balancing the artistic with the commercial, and the abstract with the tangible, we wanted to invite people to engage, to look closer, touch the materials, ask questions, and understand how things are made.”
– Clara Mahler, Designer

This approach made it possible to communicate complexity without oversimplifying it - by letting people experience it first-hand.

The execution

Behind the scenes, the project required a high level of technical development and coordination.

The stand consisted of a large number of unique elements, each with specific requirements in terms of materials, construction, cost and timing. Early decisions and close collaboration across disciplines were key.

We’re used to working with complex products and tight timelines, so from the beginning the focus was on making the right decisions early.
– Anders Ellegaard, Head of Production

One example was a sculptural podium constructed from 137 metal hangers, weighing around 100 kilos. It had to be welded without warping and fixed invisibly into the floor -illustrating the level of detail and precision involved throughout the project.

The result

The final stand didn’t just present STUDIO 9 - it demonstrated how we work. Visitors didn’t just walk through the space. They interacted with it, explored materials and engaged in conversations grounded in tangible examples. The experience made it easier to understand how ideas move from concept to completion across the STUDIO 9 set-up.

“The stand became a way of opening up how we work, not just what we deliver.” – Rasmus Ravnholt, Sales Director

For our customers, it means working with a partner who connects all stages of the process - from early concept to final execution - and turns complexity into something clear, tangible and actionable.

Because in the end, it’s not just about what we create. It’s about making a complex process tangible, seamless and tailored to each customer.
