STUDIO 9 operates across Europe and Asia with offices in Denmark, the Netherlands, Germany, Turkey, Greater China, Vietnam, India and Bangladesh.

Our international setup places us close to both market and production. Sales and design functions are anchored in Europe, while sourcing, quality control and production coordination are managed in experienced manufacturing regions across Asia and Europe.

This structure allows us to handle complex, multi-market developments with control, transparency and consistency.

Although internationally represented, STUDIO 9 operates with the mindset of a dedicated and accessible team.

Our organisation is divided into specialised divisions, where retail designers, sourcing specialists and compliance teams work directly with manufacturing partners. Decisions are made close to the product and close to the customer.

We believe proximity strengthens execution. Strong relationships with both brands and suppliers ensure clarity, reliability and long-term collaboration.

A shared foundation

STUDIO 9 is part of the Nine United family, an international group of privately owned companies with roots dating back to 1975.

Nine United operates across design furniture and lighting, retail branding, sourcing, property administration and social investment. The shared foundation supports long-term perspective, while STUDIO 9 operates as a specialised retail-focused company within the group.

Our History

Our history has made us a family. It takes time to build strong and close relationships and, over the years, we have learned how to communicate between cultures and continents. The result? A business driven by people who care about each other.

Today, STUDIO 9's headquarters is based in the old customs house by the harbour in Horsens, Denmark. It is the face of the seven Nine United offices represented in the most important production markets in Asia and Europe. Our customer portfolio now includes a wide selection of Europe and Asia’s largest fashion brands.

2023

STUDIO 9 received the Gold Award for Best Large Stand Design at EuroShop 2023, the world's largest retail trade fair with nearly 1,900 exhibitors. An international panel of design and marketing experts selected the winners based on innovation and impact.

As the Danish office grew, STUDIO 9 aimed to expand its success into the Dutch market by establishing an office near Amsterdam in 2022.

2014

2014

In 2014, the Danish office of STUDIO 9 was established, with two employees working with a bigger focus on design concepts for Danish fashion retailers. 

2005

2005

In 2005, Nine United Asia and Nine United Turkey were founded by Nine United with the purpose of purchasing and supplying the Nine United family’s existing customers with retail and product solutions across multiple segments. This created a simple and transparent business model between Europe and Asia.

STUDIO 9 is part of the Nine United family. In the early 2000s, Nine United began to take shape.
